Remember that tickets for national parks will be sold online this summer

In the first 10 days of the year, 33,161 tickets to visit state-protected natural areas were sold.

In order for visitors to plan their trips and to improve their purchase experience, Chile’s National Forest Corporation (CONAF) launched the pasesparques.cl platform on January 1, which enables visitors to quickly purchase tickets for Chile’s various national parks.

By January 10, a total of 33,161 tickets to national parks had been sold, demonstrating the platforms effectiveness and ease of use.

Pasesparques.cl will enable CONAF to improve the management of protected natural areas, and provide better working and safety conditions for park rangers, given that, for example, they will not be required to handle cash at the entry points to national parks or move daily takings from once place to another.

Advantages of online ticket sales for national parks

With the slogan “Your national park adventure starts here”, the new online ticket system for national parks aims to improve the experience of Chileans and foreigners who visit state-protected natural areas that charge an entry fee.

Another advantage of this new system is that it enables visitors to find out in advance if the park is open or closed, helping them to plan their trips to conservation areas.

It should be noted that there are more than 18 million hectares of national parks, national reserves, natural monuments, and nature sanctuaries in Chile, equivalent to 22% of the country’s territory.

If you have any questions about the new system, visit pasesparques.cl or send an email to info.pases@conaf.cl.
