Antonia and Melita Abraham achieve historic record for Chile in the Pan American Games

The rowers have entered sporting history thanks to their medal return.

Chilean rowers Antonia and Melita Abraham have entered the sporting history books by becoming the Chileans with the most medals at the Pan American Games.

They gained the achievement thanks to their huge showing at Santiago 2023, where they won a total of five medals. They have now won a total of eight medals over three different Pan American Games, surpassing Felipe Miranda, who previously held the record with a total of seven medals in water skiing.
