The President was accompanied by the Interior Minister, Jorge Burgos, the Foreign Affairs Minister, Heraldo Muñoz, and the Minister for Sport, Natalia Riffo, who enjoyed the opening ceremony of the America’s Cup Chile 2015, which will be contested in eight cities across Chile.
The President watched the ceremony in the company of children from integrated sports schools in the Metropolitan Region, which are controlled by the Ministry of Sport.
At the end of the game she congratulated the Chilean team on their victory over the team from Ecuador.
