Authorized residents and the Rapa Nui people

  • Persons registered with the National Corporation for Indigenous Development (CONADI) as members of the Rapa Nui people do not need to fill out the form. They are only required to show identification at the Investigative Police (PDI) checkpoint.
  • Authorized residents do not need to fill out the form and are only required to show identification at the Investigative Police (PDI) checkpoint.

Tourists and Guests

Go to ingresorapanui.interior.gob.cl and fill out the form that corresponds to your entry classification:

  • Tourist: Select the hotel where you are staying and show your accommodation reservation details along with your return ticket at the Investigative Police (PDI) checkpoint.
  • Invited Guest: Enter the code of your letter of invitation and show your return ticket at the Investigative Police (PDI) checkpoint.
  • If you are a member of the Rapa Nui people but not registered with CONADI, you must print and fill out the affidavit (Download here) from the site. Submit a signed, PRINTED COPY at the Investigative Police (PDI) checkpoint.

Remember:

  • As a tourist, you may only stay in Sernatur-accredited accommodation.
  • Members of the Rapa Nui people who are registered with CONADI do not fill out the form. They are only required to show identification at the Investigative Police (PDI) checkpoint.
  • Authorized residents do not fill out the form. They are only required to show identification at the Investigative Police (PDI) checkpoint.
  • Remember that invitations to Rapa Nui must be issued via the Letter of Invitation that the Provincial Government has made available through the following link: cartainvitacion-rapanui.interior.gob.cl
