This morning, the first apartments in the Santiago 2023 Village were delivered. These properties will be used as accommodation for athletes who will participate in the upcoming Pan American and Parapan American Games Santiago 2023, and will then be delivered to families eligible for Minvu subsidies.
The event was attended by various Government authorities, including Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Carlos Montes, and Minister of Sport, Jaime Pizarro, among others.
Minvu delivers more than 300 apartments for Santiago 2023 games
Minvu delivered the first 309 apartments, which will be prepared by the corporation STGO 2023 as accommodation for the athletes who will take part in the upcoming Pan American and Parapan American Games to be held between October 20 and November 26 of this year.
All apartments that form part of the Santiago 2023 Village will be delivered to 1,355 families eligible for Minvu subsidies during the first half of 2024.
On this occasion, the first four apartment buildings were delivered, two of which are located in Lot B and two in Lot C.
Preparing the apartments in the Santiago 2023 Village
Following the delivery, the corporation STGO 2023 will be responsible for providing the apartments with fittings such as:
- Beds
- Mattresses
- Chairs
- Tables
- Beside tables
- Lamps, among others
The other apartments will continue to be delivered as they are finished in order for them to be fitted out.
As these properties will be used for social housing, a bailment was established between the developers and STGO 2023 for the duration of the games.
Where is the Santiago 2023 Village located?
The Santiago 2023 Village for the Pan American and Parapan American Games is located at Pedro Aguirre Cerda 4700, Cerillos Municipality in Santiago, 300 meters from Cerrillos metro station (line 6).

The surface area of the Santiago 2023 Village for the Pan American and Parapan American Games is 6.3 hectares, and includes four condominiums with three to five apartment buildings each.
The buildings will have between six and 17 floors, and the apartments will have a surface area of 32 m2 to 52 m2. Each apartment includes one to three bedrooms and one or two bathrooms.
