New measures for entry into Chile

For the entry of non-resident travelers into Chile, the health measures at the border are:

  • Present a c19 passport (https://c19.cl).
  • Health insurance for non-resident foreigners with COVID cover (valid from May 16 for the border crossings of the northern macrozone: Chacalluta and Chungará in the Arica and Parinacota Region; Colchane in the Tarapacá Region; and Ollagüe in the Antofagasta Region). We recommend that you enter with a valid PCR test, although it is not mandatory.
  • Vaccine approval is voluntary but necessary to obtain a Pase de Movilidad (Mobility Pass) (full scheme, one or two doses depending on the vaccine, plus two booster doses). It should be noted that if a traveler does not have the Pase de Movilidad, there will be a limit to the activities they will be able to take part in in Chile, such as admission to restaurants, places of entertainment and cinemas.
  • Travelers will be randomly screened upon arrival at the border.

Non-resident foreigners will be required to comply with all the immigration requirements described at www.serviciomigraciones.cl, such as consular and immigration permits that must be requested in their country of origin prior to arrival in Chile. www.serviciomigraciones.cl.
