[ARCHIVO] President Bachelet meets with young people from Youth and Children’s Orchestras

Greeting the crowd on the Los Naranjos patio, the President offered her congratulations to “your teachers, your directors–some of whom are holding their batons. It is wonderful to see all of you. You come from so many different parts of Chile where having been part of FOJI Youth and Children’s Orchestras, having participated in this foundation, has made it possible for a country like ours to keep you from losing your artistic and musical talent.”

She added, “This is what happens when every opportunity is given to enable anyone with the will, talent and dedication to pursue music.”
